Happy New Year! It’s officially 2026
How was 2025 for you guys?
Well, for me – it was quite a challenge. I only realised how challenging it was when Yaya B pointed it out to me.
2025 is the year that I’ve visited the doctor’s office the most. It was the year that I became brave enough to see doctors for what I was feeling.
2025 is the year that made my body feel wonky.
I must say, it made me (really) feel my age in all aspects. I did my first CT Scan, my first breathing test, I’ve had massive hair loss, I finally got progressive eye glasses (that I occasionally use! haha),I realised that back to back trips takes a toll on my body and health. I’m still having severe dry mouth and dry eyes. My period started to get lighter and heavier at the same time. Oh, and 2025 had me drink the most medicines! Gosh.
November and December 2025 proved to be the MOST challenging of all months. House help drama cama and went, my candishhhbakes IG account got permanently disabled (this entails another post), my Grade 9 parent reps lead the ICA Appreciation Party 2025, my hair loss was unprecedented (despite changing shampoos!), I spent so much time at the Parent’s Office, got sick – catching the most potent bugs! But you know what, I never realised this! In my head, I thought I was the healthiest this year – it was only when Yaya B pointed out that ‘Mam, ang dalas niyo nagkasakit itong taon‘ that it registered – she was right! I was sick so many times in 2025! I’m currently sick (again!) I think I got well for a few days and I caught a new bug. WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!
So….. GOODBYE 2025!
