I like my cookies chewy always. That’s why I’m picky with what I buy. I make cookies and I can’t seem to find that perfect balance of chewy-ness whenever I make one. So I stopped trying altogether.
My friend Chermaine, we call her Seri-maine because of CLOY – is a newly minted baker. Whatever she whips up in her kitchen looks so GOOD and inviting. I swear, one day when this pandemic is over – my friends and I will invite ourselves to her place.
She told us that her daughter has a project, and that is to save up to buy a new laptop for her online schooling. She will be baking cookies to sell. Of course, we all wanted to help and support.
These came and with just a bite, I knew it was a winner. The cookie is perfect, the chocolate wasn’t too sweet nor was it bitter, the size is just right too and the bite – i LOVED it! It’s an indulgent treat that we all deserve. In one sitting – Kailee and I had two pieces each. I was reluctant to share, but what example would that be, right? Hahaha!!
I tried heating in the microwave and I tried eating it cold right out of the fridge. Both methods were wonderful – I personally preferred the right out of the fridge. I’m weird that way. Hahaha!
